I live near their garage but never really had any cause to use them before. We had an issue with our brakes (calliper seized which wrecked the pads and disk). We were desperate to have the car fixed asap and I contacted Carmate on the off-chance they could do the work that day. I was happy to hear they could and I found both guys friendly and professional. They completed the work and everything is spot on and the price was more than reasonable. They certainly didn't put their hand in just because we were desperate, which other garages may have done. I will certainly be using them again should I ever have to have the car fixed.

MARK EAST – CO-FOUNDER & SENIOR TECHNICIAN
Mark began his career as an apprentice with Ford at the age of 16, working across dealerships in Kingston upon Thames and Staines before co-founding Car Mate. With a lifelong passion for cars and mechanical engineering, Mark brings expert technical knowledge and an eye for detail to every service. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, camping, and diving — always up for a challenge both on and off the road.
DARREN WARMAN – CO-FOUNDER & SENIOR TECHNICIAN
Darren started in the motor trade as an apprentice in Laleham before joining Ford, where he met Mark. Together, they founded Car Mate with a shared vision of delivering honest, customer-focused garage services. A dedicated family man, Darren loves spending time with his children, playing golf and squash, and is known for his great sense of humour (and the occasional prank).
